Purpose

Support young local coaches aspiring to kickstart a career in rugby.

Provide these coaches with development support and mentorship opportunities.

Create a development and career pathway for local coaches.

Offer paid coaching opportunities from time-to-time.

Build a pool of talented, qualified coaches for future openings in Silverbacks Elite Rugby's Senior Coaching Staff.

Free access to all Silverbacks Elite Rugby's Coach Development Program activities.

Support creating a Personal Coach Development Plan and regular check-ins with members of Senior Coaching Staff.

Opportunities to coach weekly training sessions alongside Senior Coaches

Applicant Requirements

3-5 Years Experience Coaching Contact Rugby
-
USA Rugby L200 Coaching Certificate
-
Current or Ability to Obtain USA Rugby Membership

Current or Ability to Obtain USOPC SafeSport Certification
-
Current or Ability to Pass USA Rugby Background Check
-
Able to Commute to a Silverbacks Training Hub
(current hubs throughout Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Missouri, and Wisconsin)
